My life as a Long-arm quilter began many moons ago while working at a quilt shop in NC. I became part of the Long-arm team as soon as the shops news long-arm was delivered. Little did I know where this journey was going to take me.
In 2002 I purchased my first Long-arm machine, and created Iris‘QuiltGarden.
The love for creating pushed me towards designing my own Pantographs, which are still available at
In 2006, I was given the opportunity to share my knowledge and love for quilting with others by becoming a Quilting Instructor at FTCC in NC.
2013 I upgraded to a Handi Quilter Fusion with Pro-Stitcher, that meant I could now stitch out my digitized designs.
In 2021 my dream came true and I became a National Educator for Handi Quilter. Since then I have traveled through out the US to teach events. My second year with HQ I had the opportunity to travel to Germany and France for their National quilt shows, what a great experience.
